Equipment

Everyone at Shelter should be provided with a laptop, monitor, keyboard and mouse (if they want them). Headphones are also available from IT but generally don’t seem to work well with Macs. Generally you should get in touch with IT or resources if you need some equipment. If you need a laptop stand or other equipment we can generally buy that using the Digital credit card (via Caspar) or buy it and then expense it (with your line manager’s permission). 

If an employee needs equipment like a standup desk due to a disability or injury then you can request a workplace assessment from your line manager. A third party will then recommend equipment based on your needs. You will generally need to provide a letter from your doctor, or similar evidence of your issue.
